Salem NH Farmers Market at Fisk School

Diana Reeves from GMO Free USA and Pamm Larry from The Good Food Brigade will be tabling at the New Hampshire Farmers Market from 10 to 2. They'll do a talk from 11 to noon entitled; Pesticides, GMOs, Chemicals, Poisons..ENOUGH!! It's time for Victory Gardens 2.0!!

Pamm Larry woke up on January 21, 2011 to the idea that it was time to start a movement in California to label GMOs. She got in her car and drove around the state, sparking what would become California’s citizen-led ballot initiative Proposition 37 – The Genetically Engineered Food Labeling Act of 2012. Although Prop 37 did not prevail at the ballot box, it helped galvanize a U.S. grassroots movement for the mandatory labeling of GMOs.

Since then she has continued to support grassroots food campaigns nationally. Her current project is The Good Food Brigade, a new organization committed to changing the world through strong local food systems based on Healthy, Just, Resilient, Regenerative and Tasty food.   Be part of a million-garden movement and register your Victory Garden 2.0 at where you will also find out other easy ways to change the food system one tasty bite at a time.

Diana Reeves, a Connecticut mom-turned-activist, founded GMO Free USA in response to a failed initiative to label genetically engineered foods in her home state in May 2012. Diana was a CPA on the fast track at a major accounting firm when her firstborn son was diagnosed with cancer at the age of two. She walked away from her career to take care of him and became a stay at home mom. Her son died before he turned five and she has since raised three children. After Diana’s family developed autoimmune disease and other health problems, she began to learn about the connections between these illnesses and genetically engineered foods. Her family’s health-related challenges, her lack of tolerance for putting children at risk and her anger with untested and unlabeled GMOs have instigated her passion to bring positive change to our broken food system.

Diana is the recipient of the Healthy Child Healthy World 2013 Mom on a Mission Award. She is a member of the Steering Committee ofthe GMO Free Global Coalition and Co-chair of the GMO Action Alliance.
